01Who we are

Brought Back is a media page about restoration work. It is operated by Andre Blunt Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Andre Blunt Kft), a limited company registered in Hungary.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means anyone who uses this site, joins our email list, or sends us footage.

02What this site is, and what it is not

This site explains what we publish, shares the cost research behind it, and lets you join our email list. That is all it does.

We do not carry out restoration work. We do not quote for it, arrange it, supervise it, or take a cut of it. We are not a trade directory and we do not vet or recommend the crews whose work appears on our channels. If you hire someone after seeing their work with us, that is a contract between you and them, and we are not part of it.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

03Featured content: the arrangement for creators

This section applies when you let us feature footage you filmed. It is the same arrangement we set out in the message we send you before you agree, written down once in full so that the message and this page cannot say different things.

• You keep full ownership

  The footage stays yours. Nothing here transfers copyright to us. You can keep posting it, licensing it, or selling it anywhere else, with no restriction from us and no need to tell us.

• You are giving us permission to edit it and post it

  Specifically: permission for Brought Back to edit your footage and publish it on our Instagram and TikTok accounts. That is the scope of what you are granting, and it is the whole of it.

• You are credited on the frame and in the caption

  Your handle appears on the video itself and in the caption, every time it is posted.

• No payment either way

  We do not pay you for the footage. You do not pay us for the edit or for the placement. Nobody invoices anybody.

• You can ask us to take it down at any time

  Ask and we remove it, with no questions and no argument. There is no time limit on this and you do not have to give a reason.

  Two honest limits. We need a reasonable window to action it, and we cannot recall copies that other people have already downloaded or reshared, because that is outside our control.

• You confirm the footage is yours to share

  That you filmed it or otherwise own it, and that letting us publish it does not break an agreement you have with a client, a site owner, or anyone else. We rely on this, because we have no way of checking it from the outside.

How permission is recorded

We send you the terms above by direct message and your reply agreeing to them is the record. We keep a copy of that message thread. The privacy policy explains what we hold and for how long.

You see the edit before it goes anywhere

We send you the finished cut before it is published. If it is not right, tell us and it does not go out.

Anything beyond this needs a separate yes

If we ever want to use your footage for something outside the scope above, an advertisement or any paid or sponsored placement being the obvious cases, we come back and ask you again. Permission given under this section does not cover it.

If these terms change

Changes to this section are not retroactive. The version that was published when you agreed is the version that governs your footage.

04Cost figures and research

We publish cost ranges for restoration work. Every figure we publish is traceable to a named, published source, and we cite it. That is a rule we hold ourselves to and it is the reason some things we would like to publish never get published.

What that sourcing does not do is make the numbers right for your job. Read the following as part of the figures themselves, not as small print under them.

• The sources are aggregated published price guides, not primary trade data. Guides for the same job routinely disagree with each other by a wide margin, which is why we show ranges instead of one confident number.
• Real prices move with condition, access, materials, the size of the job, the region, and the individual trade. Condition usually matters more than area.
• The figures are general information. They are not a quote, not an estimate, not a valuation, and not professional advice of any kind.
• Guides go out of date. A figure that was accurate when we published it may not be accurate when you read it.

Do not budget a real job against our numbers. Get quotes from working trades and treat what we publish as background for reading those quotes.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty that any figure is accurate, current, complete, or suitable for your situation, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of them.

05The email list

Joining the list is optional and you can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We ask what you work on so we can send you relevant things rather than everything. The privacy policy sets out what we collect, who processes it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Give us an address you actually control. Do not sign up anyone else.

06Acceptable use

Use the site normally and this section will never affect you. It exists for the small number of cases where someone does not.

• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or use automated tools to harvest this site or its contents.
• Do not republish our edits, research, or design as your own work. Sharing a post using the platform's own share tools is fine and welcome.
• Do not misrepresent your relationship with us, including claiming to represent Brought Back or claiming an endorsement we have not given.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems, and do not upload or transmit anything malicious.
• Do not use this site to break the law or to infringe anyone else's rights.

We may withdraw access, remove content, or stop working with anyone who does these things.

07Our own content

The Brought Back name, the wordmark, the page design, our edits, and our written research belong to us or to our licensors. Footage supplied by a creator belongs to that creator, as set out in section 03.

08Other people's platforms

We publish on Instagram and TikTok and we send email through a third-party provider. Those services have their own terms and their own privacy policies, they are not under our control, and we are not responsible for them. Links from this site to anywhere else are not endorsements.

09Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or lost business, and for any loss arising from your reliance on published cost figures or on any work carried out by a trade whose footage appears on our channels.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.

10Changes to these terms

We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version. The exception is section 03, which does not apply retroactively to permission already given.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or the European Economic Area, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
